HRMC Prenatal Education Classes

Prenatal education classes are structured to
prepare expectant parents for childbirth and are
taught by certified childbirth educators. Each
session includes four classes and is recommended
to be taken during the last trimester of pregnancy.
A one-time fee of $20 covers the cost of materials.

A breastfeeding class is also offered on the third

South Dakota Women's Expo – A Day for Women

HRMC and the HRMC Foundation have teamed up
with the South Dakota State Fair and several other
organizations to present a Day for Women that is
bigger and better than ever. Keynote speaker Marci
Shimoff, co-author of "Chicken Soup for a Woman's
Soul" and star of "The Secret," will headline the event.
Two lucky women will receive full makeovers, and
everyone will enjoy a day full of enlightening speakers
on topics that matter to women. Exhibitors will offer
interactive displays on topics such as women's health,
finance, decorating, cooking, time-saving techniques,
crafts and more. For more information, contact the
