75 Years of Reflection
December 12, 2022
As I reflect on Huron Regional Medical Center’s first 75 years, I’m filled with pride. It’s humbling to consider the sacrifices, dedication and vision of those who have made HRMC what it is today.
We plan to honor their service by making this year our best yet.
Since opening in 1947, we’ve employed thousands of your friends, family and neighbors. With iron resolve, these generous, hardworking team members have sustained HRMC’s legacy. Because of their commitment, we consistently meet our mission of providing high quality community care.
Fulfilling our mission doesn’t happen by accident. Through community focused initiatives, such as the Community Health Needs Assessment and scholarships for local students interested in pursuing health care careers, we have kept a finger on the pulse of your needs. When your needs change, so do we.
In the mid-1990s, we recognized a need for more specialty care in the area. We responded with Specialty Clinics that brought diverse services, including psychiatry, orthopedics and cancer care, close to home so you don’t have to travel long distances for care.
While we’ve made tremendous strides in the past 75 years, we’re not through. With an eye on the future, we’ll keep forging ahead. It’s what we do, and it’s what you deserve.
