How Do You Know When to Consider Surgery for Your Joint Pain?
Dr. Todd Anderson: There are certain patients that are good surgical candidates, others that aren't. People that would be better off being treated without surgery. You know by talking to people, you get an idea of their motivation, their restrictions, their requirements. Other things that are going on in their lives that will affect their ability to participate in their care because ultimately the treatment of every patient is a team effort and the most important person on the team is the patient.
