2023 Cutest Baby Contest Winners Announced

A total of 42 adorable little faces were entered into the fifteenth annual Cutest Baby Contest, hosted by Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC).
Entries were submitted in March with live online voting occurring in April, when community members, family and friends were invited to vote daily for their favorite.
Receiving the most votes to earn the “2023 Cutest Baby” title was Emmett, son of Hartman and Sydney Katz. “Emmett is such a happy, outgoing little guy who just loves life,” said his dad. “His favorite words are puppy and baby.”
Upon notification that Emmett was the top vote getter, and therefore, the “2023 Cutest Baby”, his mom, shared that it was also his birthday. “What a fun birthday surprise,” she stated. The family received Emmett’s winning prize on his first birthday in the very same HRMC Birthing Center room in which he was born just one year prior.
As the winner, Emmett received the grand prize package which includes a Hatch Baby Sleep Machine, $50 in Huron Bucks, a gift basket of baby essentials, a commemorative blanket, and a feature photo on HRMC Cutest Baby advertising and promotional materials.
Receiving the next highest number of votes in the contest was Winston William Charles, son of Harlee Hofhenke and Ethan Howard. As Cutest Baby runner-up winner, Winston received $50 in Huron Bucks.
