Dr. Loewen is a board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a distinction signified by the “FACS” credential following a surgeon’s name. “Being elected to this position reflects Dr. Loewen’s dedication not only to his patients, but also to advancing the surgical profession and supporting excellence in rural healthcare,” said Erick Larson, president and CEO for HRMC. “We are proud to see him recognized by his peers at the state level.”
