Better Choices, Better Health Chronic Disease Self-Management Class

Huron, SD - Huron Regional Medical Center will host a six-week chronic disease self-management work shop beginning Wednesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. at HRMC Legacy Plaza Auditorium, according to Dennise Brock, RN, education coordinator for HRMC.
This workship is free and for any adult (or their caregiver) living with a chronic health condition such as Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, depression, chronic pain, congestive heart failure, chronic insomnia and more.
The program, designed by Better Choices, Better Health® SD and taught by Brock, offers six weekly sessions to help people living with chronic health conditions learn how to manage their health better. Topics include: goal setting, managing difficult emotions, relaxation skills, nutrition and physical activity planning and more.
The two- and one-half-hour sessions are held each Wednesday from May 15 through June 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration is required, please call 1-888-484-3800 or visit www.BetterChoicesBetterHealthSD.org.
