Caring for the Caregiver Topic at PAH Support Group

Huron, S.D. – Attendees at the September meeting of the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension support group will learn information on caring for the caregiver on Tuesday, September 15, at 4:00 p.m. in the Dakota Heartland room located in the lower level of the HRMC Central Tower (across from the cafeteria).
Cindy Thomas, RN, a nurse in Huron Regional Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation unit, will lead the group in a discussion about how caregivers need to keep themselves healthy and strong. The event is free and open to the public.
The Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) support group provides support and education for patients who suffer from high blood pressure of the lungs. The group typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m., in the Dakota-Heartland room on the lower level of the HRMC Central Tower.
