Glanzer Promoted to Lead Obstetrical Services at HRMC

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to announce Casey Glanzer, RN, has been promoted to director of inpatient obstetric services at HRMC, according to Amy Goergen, RN, vice president of patient services for HRMC.
Glanzer fills the role previously occupied by Goergen. In her new role, Glanzer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of nursing services in the HRMC Birthing Center. She will work with other nursing leaders and supervisiors to facilitate excellent patient care through effective planning, delegation and mentoring. In addition to her role

leading the ininpatient obstetrics department, Glanzer will oversee inpatient case management and clinical documentation integrity, leading a team in the role she previously held and developed over the past year.
Glanzer joined HRMC in 2018 and as an RN in the emergency department. She was promoted to nursing supervisor and, most recently, case management and clinical documentation integrity where she worked with leaders and clinical care teams in a range of specialties. Glanzer earned her nursing assistant training in 2009 and nursing degree in 2013 from Kaplan College. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University.
“Casey has displayed energy and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care and true investment in the patient experience in her previous roles at HRMC,” said Goergen. “She has emerged as a leader in each of her roles through her work ethic, team approach and clinical knowledge which makes her an excellent fit for this position.”
Glanzer is eager to bring her well-rounded experience to her new role. “I’m really excited to work to promote a welcoming atmosphere and excellent experiences for our patients,” said Glanzer. “It’s an amazing opportunity to help lead our teams to prepare moms for going home with a new baby.”
Glanzer operates a farm and ranch near Carpenter with her husband, Cain, and their two children, Cayden, age two, and Cassidy, seven months. In her spare time, Glanzer enjoys riding horses, serving as an ambassador coordinator for Heatland 4-H and volunteering at 4-H and high school rodeos. She also enjoys listening to audio books while commuting and spending time with her family.
