Honor a Loved One and Support Local Hospice Care
December 09, 2025
A Christmas tree aglow with lights and ornaments is on display in the main lobby of Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) throughout the holiday season.
A holiday tradition at HRMC, the Tree of Memories provides an opportunity to remember a loved one who has passed with a gift to support HRMC Community Hospice. Names of individuals honored will be placed on a red ornament to hang on the tree. Each gift is recognized by placing an ornament on the tree bearing the name of the honored individuals.
Donations support the work of the hospice team, whose mission is to help terminally ill patients and their family members live as fully as possible, up until the end of life.
Hospice care is available to residents who live within a 40-mile radius of Huron or live in a nursing home or assisted living center located in Huron. For more information, call HRMC’s home health and community hospice office at 605-353-6520.
Donors may choose to keep the ornament honoring their loved one, if desired. Ornaments can be picked up between January 6-31 at the HRMC Hospice office in the Professional Arts Building at 530 Iowa Ave SE #107 Monday-Friday during business hours of 8:00-4:30.
