February 19, 2016
Huron, S.D. – Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) honored its February Exceptional Employee of the Month, Bobbi Drayer, with a reception on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Drayer, who has worked in environmental services at HRMC for more nearly six years, was nominated by coworkers to receive the honor. According to nominating coworkers, “Bobbi always has a smile on her face and greets everyone she meets.
“Bobbi tries to brighten the mood and environment where she is working to make everyone’s day better in some way,” the nominaton continued. “She is also a positive role model for new staff and is willing to help others.”
HRMC’s Exceptional Employee of the Month award recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. Employees can be nominated by other employees or by a patient or visitor who witnesses exceptional service. A committee of employees from various hospital departments chooses the employee on a monthly basis and an Exceptional Employee of the Year is chosen at year-end from the 12 monthly honorees.
As February exceptional employee, Drayer received a reception with family, friends and coworkers, a meal certificate to a local restaurant, a professional photo session and portrait, $50, a lapel pin and a special parking place for a month.
Originally from Huron, Drayer graduated from Huron High School. She is the daughter of Ken and Debbie Lindblad. She has three children: Caleb, age 13; Paige, age 10; and Christian, age 4. In her spare time, she enjoys being part of Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), bowling and spending time with her family.
Patients or visitors can nominate an exceptional employee by calling 353-6539 for a nomination form or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
