HRMC Honors Kouf as November Exceptional Employee

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) honored its November Exceptional Employee of the Month, LaNette Kouf, earlier this week.
Kouf, credentialing specialist at HRMC, was nominated by coworkers to receive the honor. She has worked at HRMC just over three years. The nomination states, “LaNette goes above and beyond to show kindness and compassion to anyone she comes into contact with.”
“She is willing to assist with various projects outside of her realm, with the simple desire of helping others achieve their goals,” the nomination continued. “LaNette recently took on additional duties with a great attitude, and also offered to take on the role of supporting the HRMC Auxiliary.”
HRMC’s Exceptional Employee of the Month award recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to demonstrate the hospital’s values of being accessible, helpful and knowledgeable. Employees can be nominated by other coworkers or by a patient or visitor who witnesses exceptional service. A committee of employees from various hospital departments chooses the employee each month and an Exceptional Employee of the Year is chosen at year-end from the 12 monthly honorees.
As November exceptional employee, Kouf received a meal certificate to a local restaurant, a professional photo session and portrait, $50, a lapel pin and a special parking place for a month.
Kouf has worked in billing and coding at HRMC and currently handles medical staff and payer credentialing. Prior to her work at HRMC, she worked for New Life Clinic for 27 years.
“I love my job at HRMC and especially enjoy the aspect of insurance credentialing,” said Kouf. “The atmosphere and the great co-workers are an added bonus.”
Originally from Huron, Kouf lives at Lake Byron. She has one grown son, Trent. In her spare time, Kouf enjoys boating on her pontoon, gardening, completing outdoor projects and spending time with friends and family.
