HRMC Supports Salvation Army Christmas Basket

The Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) board of directors voted to again contribute $4,000 for the Salvation Army’s annual food drive, according to Laurie Solem, HRMC board chair.

“The board is proud to help the Salvation Army provide food for those in our community who need a helping hand,” said Solem, administrator at Avantara Huron and The Wellshire. “The Christmas Basket food drive is an important program and we’re happy to help the Salvation Army continue the tradition of caring our community”

In addition to the $4,000 monetary contribution, medical staff, hospital and Foundation board members support the Christmas Basket program by donating Huron bucks they receive as a gift from the hospital at Thanksgiving to the Salvation Army program. In total, $390 in Huron bucks were donated to the Salvation Army for their Christmas Basket program.
