Nacrina Aldan and Lucky Sharry, of Huron, welcomed their new baby boy, Loyal Lucky Jr. Aldan Sharry on January 3, 2024 at 11:31 a.m. Loyal is the smallest of the family’s six children at birth weighing 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches long. He is the first baby born at Huron Regional Medical Center for the 2024 year. “His entry into the world went very well,” remarked Aldan. “We’re thankful to have been here — the staff was really good to us.”

Loyal is Aldan and Sharry’s first child born in Huron as they moved to the community from the Northern Mariana Islands in July 2022. “We really like Huron,” said Aldan. “It is a nice place to raise our kids. Our oldest is graduating from Huron High School this year and we’ve completed our family as we now have three boys and three girls.”

Loyal, who is described a cheerful baby by his mother, received a stuffed bunny from the HRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop. The family also received a commemorative photo tile and a bottle of sparkling cider from the hospital to celebrate the occasion of being the first baby born in 2024.
