HRMC’s 2025 First Baby Born on January 4

Lar and Saw Hsel of Huron, welcomed their new baby girl, Silver Hsel on January 4, 2025, at 3:10 p.m. Silver weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long at birth. She is the first baby born at Huron Regional Medical Center for the 2025 year. “The birthing process at HRMC was perfect,” remarked Lar Hsel.

The Hsel’s originally lived in North Carolina for two years prior to moving to Huron in 2016. Silver is the Hsel’s second daughter born at HRMC.

Silver, a beautiful baby girl, received a stuffed lamb from the HRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop. The family also received a commemorative photo frame and a bottle of sparkling cider from the hospital to celebrate the occasion.
