New ENT Physician Joins HRMC Medical Staff

Huron, S.D. – Dr. Gregory Danielson, a board-certified otolaryngologist with Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat, has joined the Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) medical staff.
Dr. Danielson provides outreach ear, nose, throat and allergy services on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. He will see patients in suite 401 on the fourth floor of the HRMC Central Tower, located at 172 4th Street SE.
Dr. Danielson will provide consultative services and surgical treatment for a broad range of ear, nose and throat conditions including sinus and allergies, sleep medicine, tonsillitis, chronic ear infections, head and neck cancers, along with hearing and balance problems.
Dr. Danielson is board certified in otorhinolaryngology. He earned a doctor of medicine degree from University of Vermont and Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. He completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He also completed two years training in general surgery with the department of surgery at University of Vermont.
His special interests include: thyroid/parathyroid gland surgery, disorders of ear/hearing, laser ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and voice and swallowing disorders.
Joining Dr. Danielson on outreach clinic days will be audiologists Melissa Baker and Bob Froke, who will rotate between the two Wednesdays. More information about Dr. Danielson and Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat’s outreach at HRMC is available on the hospital’s website at www.huronregional.org.
