Paul to Lead Inpatient Medical, Surgical and Intensive Care Units at HRMC

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to announce Beth Paul, RN, has joined HRMC as director of the medical, surgical and intensive care department, according to Amy Goergen, RN, vice president of patient services for HRMC.

In her new role, Paul is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of medical, surgical, and ICU nursing services. She will work with other nursing leaders and supervisiors to facilitate patient care, manage day-to-day staffing and mentor employees.
Prior to joining HRMC, Beth owned and operated a skilled home care organization in the state of Washington. She earned her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
“Beth’s varied experience in direct patient care and health care entrepreneurship, paired with her philosophy of caring for people, will make her an excellent asset to our organization,” said Goergen. “Her commitment to excellence in nursing while leading and supporting team members make her a great fit for this role.”
Beth and her family recently moved to Huron with ties to a faith community in town. “Everyone has been very welcoming,” said Paul. “I am excited to be here to lead our excellent teams and to ensure that our patients are well taken care of while they’re here.”
Originally from the northwest and most recently the state of Washington, Paul lives in Huron with her husband, Jeff, and their 14 year-old son, Zephaniah. In her spare time, she enjoyes spending time outdoors, enjoying her dog and drinking good coffee.
