PAH is a disease that causes changes in the vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs, eventually causing chronic high blood pressure in the lungs. PAH is a different condition than ordinary high blood pressure (hypertension).
This support group typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month with the purpose of supporting PAH patients and family members. For more information contact Cindy Thomas, RN, at 605-353-6531.
