Go Blue - Screening Saves Lives

Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in men and women combined in the United States. The average lifetime risk of developing colon cancer is about 1 in 23, however the average survival rate is 90% when cancer is found early.

To be eligible, entrants must schedule the colonoscopy to occur at HRMC before June 30, 2025. Entrants can be eligible by scheduling with their primary care provider, HRMC central scheduling or by filling out the form to request a screening with one of our providers (form opens March 1, 2025) or call the provider's office to schedule.

Not due for a colonocopy right now? We'll also draw for $50 in Huron Bucks for those who refer others to schedule during March - just make sure the person scheduling names you as the referrer.

What is the process to get a colonoscopy at HRMC?

In most cases, the procedure is done on an outpatient basis and most people can return to work the next day. Talk to your primary care provider about scheduling a colonoscopy or schedule an appointment with a Physicians Clinic provider.
