    Orthopedics at HRMC

    Our orthopedic team can diagnose and treat individuals to help reduce pain and improve function. At Huron Regional Medical Center, we offer local orthopedic care with a full range of services including general orthpedics, sports medicine, fracture care, muscle and tendon care, and joint replacement using the latest orthopedic technology.



     

    Mako SmartRobotics

    HRMC is excited to offer state of the art SmartRobotics technology with Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery, which aids orthopedic surgeons in total hip and total knee procedures. It is a new approach to joint replacements that offers patient-specific implant alignment and positioning. CT imaging allows surgeons to create a patient-specific 3D plan for the joint replacement. The surgeon controls the robotic arm that helps place the patient’s new joint with a high degree of accuracy. Patients achieve shorter hospital stays & recovery times.
