Prenatal Education Class Registration

Our prenatal education classes are structured to prepare expectant parents for childbirth and are taught by certified childbirth educators.

Each session includes three classes and are recommended to be taken during the last trimester of your pregnancy. In partnership with the Foundation, HRMC Prenatal Classes are now free of charge.

Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. in the conference room located on the southwest end of the Birthing Center on HRMC's third floor. Class time is approximately 2-3 hours and rest and refreshment breaks are included. For more information on the classes, please contact the Birthing Center at 605-353-6251.

A breastfeeding class is also offered on the second class date of each session, taught by certified lactation counselors. A basic life support class is also offered to family members and caregivers in conjunction with the regularly schedule course dates.
