In-person classes will resume at a date to be determined
Prenatal education classes are structured to prepare expectant parents for childbirth and are taught by certified childbirth educators.
Each session includes four classes and are recommended to be taken during the last trimester of your pregnancy. A one-time fee of $20 covers the costs of materials presented at the class, and can be conveniently paid when attending the first class. Classes begin at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room located on the southwest end of the Birthing Center on HRMC's third floor. Class time is approximately 2-3 hours and rest and refreshment breaks are included. For more information on the classes, please contact the instructors: Lisa Kranzler at 605-350-0098 and Teri Weidner-Eichstadt at 605-840-1225.
In-Person Breastfeeding Class
A breastfeeding class is also offered on the third class date of each session. The breastfeeding class will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the regular prenatal class starting at 7:30 p.m.
