FAMILY MEDICINE WITH OB physician Nathan Loewen, MD, and general surgeon Anthony Loewen, MD, are well-known leaders within the Huron Regional Medical Center medical staff. Now, the father-son duo is excited to announce that their practice, New Life Clinic, is joining together with HRMC.
Dr. Nathan Loewen, who has practiced in Huron for more than 32 years is looking forward to having more time to devote to caring for people rather than tending to the administrative tasks that come along with a medical practice.
“I became a physician to care for patients and to be available to them when they need me most,” Dr. Nathan Loewen says. “This is a great opportunity for me and for New Life Clinic to do just that.”
The shift to becoming an operation of HRMC will change the billing structure of New Life Clinic, so patients can expect to see a change in the way they receive statements. However, the same team of Dr. Anthony Loewen, Dr. Nathan Loewen and Kara Fast, PA-C, will offer convenient, compassionate family medicine with OB care and general surgery services at the same New Life Clinic location.
“The New Life providers want nothing more than to continue to provide the same personal, friendly care they have for years,” says Erick Larson, president and CEO of HRMC. “Our goal is to help them keep doing that.”
